Romans 1:12-13 is the Apostle
Paul’s mission statement that highlights his objective
in wanting to visit and lock arms with fellow Christians
in Rome. He wrote to them, “For I long to see you, that
I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye
may be established; That is, that I may be comforted
together with you by the mutual faith both of you and
me.”
Paul sought to “impart” something
into the lives of the saints in Rome. He wanted to make
a deposit in them, which they could draw from the rest
of their lives, something to perpetually sustain and
enrich them. That something was spiritual in nature; it
was a spiritual gift from and of the Holy Spirit. This
impartation would “establish” them—permanently secure
them in their redemptive relationship with Christ and in
the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God (Romans
1:11, Colossians 2:6-7). The Apostle Paul acknowledged
that he, as well as the saints in Rome, needed such a
comforting deposit from the Spirit of God, which can
only be received by faith (Romans 1:12).
Like the Apostle Paul, in all aspects of my service
to the Lord Jesus Christ, which includes this website's
content, the purpose is to impart—to
deposit something spiritual into your life that you can
endlessly draw from. Something that sustains, enriches,
and permanently secures you in your walk with Christ and
in things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Every saint
of God needs the comfort that comes from such a
spiritual deposit and that includes me.

In closing, this is my prayer for you and me:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
glory, may give unto [us] the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of [our]
understanding being enlightened; that [we] may know what
is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the
glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the
exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,
according to the working of his mighty power, Which he
wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and
set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and
dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this
world, but also in that which is to come (Ephesians
1:17-21), Amen.
